Day two of games in Group D at the ongoing Championship of African Nations (CHAN) produced a two victories – Angola beat Cameroon in the first game whiles Congo also put two past Burkina Faso at the Le Grande Stade in Agadir.
Cameroon have effectively been knocked out of the competition whiles Congo have booked their place in the quarter finals. They have six points after beating Cameroon one – nil in the first game.
Angola will need to avoid defeat to Cameroon and hope that Congo will beat Burkina Faso in the final group games for them to also qualify. Their winning goal on the 30-minute mark was a penalty converted by Job.
In the case of Congo – Burkina faso game, Kader Bidimbou scored in injury time to seal the points after Congo took the lead through Carof Bakoua on the 67th minute mark.

In matches slated to today, teams in the Group A play their final fixtures. Hosts Morocco will face Sudan at the Complexe Muhammed V in Casablanca whiles Mauritania and Guinea meet at the Grande Stade in Marrakech. Games are to be played at the same time.
Morocco and Sudan have already booked their places in the knock out rounds. They were joined in Group B by Zambia and Namibia as Ivory Coast and Uganda crashed out.
In the case of Group C, Nigeria, Libya and Rwanda all have chances of making the next round. Equatorial Guinea are effectively out. Congo is also through from Group D as Angola and Burkina Faso battle for the last spot.
